Quotes, prices and right of withdrawal
Quotes
A free, detailed quote (devis) is provided before any work, including repairs and small jobs. It sets out in particular the nature of the work, the price of each service and of the materials, any travel fee, the total amount, how long the offer is valid and the date or timeframe for the work. Work only starts once you have accepted the quote in writing.
Prices
Repairs and small jobs: call-out package of €180 incl. VAT, covering travel within Nice and the first 3 hours of labour (i.e. an hourly rate of €55 incl. VAT, with a 3-hour minimum charge). After that, time is counted per half-hour started, at €27.50 incl. VAT per half-hour. Materials extra, itemised in the quote. Outside Nice, the travel fee is stated in the quote.
The “Estimate your budget” tool gives indicative, non-binding price ranges based on average prices published in France, adjusted for Nice. It is neither a quote nor an offer. Only the written quote issued after a site visit is binding on Luxmaison.
Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer and the contract is concluded at a distance (phone, email, WhatsApp) or off-premises (for example a quote signed at your home), you have 14 days to withdraw without giving any reason (articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code). Information on this right and the standard withdrawal form are attached to the quote.
If you want the work to start before the end of this period, you must expressly request it, on paper or another durable medium (for example by email) for a contract signed at your home. If you then withdraw, you will have to pay for the part of the work already carried out (article L221-25).
The right of withdrawal does not apply to urgent maintenance or repair work at your home that you have expressly requested, limited to the spare parts and work strictly necessary to deal with the emergency (article L221-28, 8°).

Personal data
This website has no forms and does not collect any personal data by itself. The budget estimator runs only in your browser: nothing you enter is stored or sent.
When you contact Luxmaison
- Data controller: Lucian Carasava (Luxmaison), contact details above.
- Data: what you send me by phone, text message, WhatsApp or email (name, contact details, property address, description and photos of the project).
- Purposes and legal basis: replying to your request, preparing a quote and carrying out the work (pre-contractual measures and performance of the contract); bookkeeping (legal obligation).
- Retention: 3 years after the last contact for enquiries that do not go ahead; for customers, the length of the contract plus the legal limitation periods; 10 years for invoices and accounting records.
- Recipients: Luxmaison only. Messages pass through the technical providers used by you or by Luxmaison: OVH (forwarding of contact@luxmaison.fr), Google (Gmail) and Meta (WhatsApp), some of which may process data outside the European Union under the safeguards provided by the GDPR. Your data is never sold or passed on. It may be disclosed to the authorities or to a mediator where required by law.

Third-party services
The WhatsApp button opens WhatsApp (Meta) and the “View on Google Maps” link opens Google Maps: these services are used only if you click on them and are subject to their own privacy policies. The host, Netlify, technically processes visitors' IP addresses (server logs) to run and secure the website.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising tools. Fonts are hosted on the site itself: nothing is loaded from Google or any other third party when pages open. No consent banner is therefore needed.
Intellectual property
The text, photos and logos on this website belong to Luxmaison. Any reproduction without permission is prohibited.
